A while back, my dear friend Heidi Posted about Soles United on our Boutique Bargains Blog. 

Soles United is the first-of-its-kind recycled footwear donation program.

Give back your worn-out crocs shoes to be recycled into new shoes and they will be donated to people in need around the world.  By taking the pledge you can help make a difference in the lives of people in impoverished regions of the world.

Soon, 10,000 pairs of shoes will be distributed throughout Haiti by Melky Jean to YéleHaiti, Wyclef’s foundation.

The goal is to donate more than 2 million pairs of recycled Crocs shoes Worldwide to those in need, during the year 2008.
