Ooo, Ooo – Me, Me, Me!!  How was your Christmas?  It’s fun to share what goodies we gave and received.  I am super excited about mine!  Hubby did good!  Thoughtful gifts are my favorite.

Some back ground information:

Months and months ago I said good-bye to my 12 cup coffee pot.  It was an old friend.  Only a coffee lover would understand the connection between their coffee pot and a good reliable cup of joe in the morning.  I used it so much between house parties and myself that it literally began to fall apart and crack.  Making it dangerous to use.  So, with the thought of someone getting seriously burned – I trashed it..  

I hadn’t gotten a chance to replace it, because as a coffee lover, I’ve been really picky about my coffee pots in the past.  I pulled out my old stand by – a nice 4 cup Mr. Coffee Pot that I would use until the perfect replacement came my way.  

Of course, being a mom, wife, housewife, business owner, expecting a new baby, eBay addict…well, you get the picture – time just passes.

Behold…Christmas morning, as I am handed a big box – as I unwrap with care, revealed is the Cuisinart DTC-975 Programable Auto Brew 12-Cup Coffeemaker! SWEET!

With the eBay junkie lurking inside of me, it’s just in my nature to go on eBay to check the resale value.  I can’t help it!  Only an eBay addict would understand.  I found one selling for $98, new and the color was white.  The more popular color is black, but I didn’t find the exact model.  Not too shabby if you received one as a gift and need to “Re-eBay”!  (I don’t call it “Re-Gift”).
